و يا وطنا لو ان الخلد ازرى .. برونقه لقلت له حسود
اديم ثراك اروع ما نفدي ... و نبع رواك انبل ما نرود
كأن حصاك ممتقعا قلوب ... تقلبها على ضرم خدود
و طيب نسيمك الزاهي عتاب ... تهدهده على امل وعود
احبك، بل احب خشوع نفسي ... ببابك حين احلم بي اعود
و اعشق فيك آهة كل قلب ... له بين الثرى غزل فقيد
و ايام مجسدة و رمل يثر ...ثر بالهوى و دمى شهود
و كم بين الصخور رميم لهو ... تصيده الصبا فيما يصيد
نمر به فنقصر من خطانا ... مخافة ان يراع فم و جيد
